Sandy Curry MA who regularly sails on Annabel J as 1st or 2nd Mate is a professional artist In her other life.. Apart from painting, she specialises in running community art projects and coaches groups interested in developing their Art. See
Sandy will be available if required for those interested in Art for coaching and instruction. We will sail to picturesque venues such as Yarmouth, Buckler’s Hard, Newtown Creek, Chichester harbour, and Old Portsmouth in the Solent and the beautiful Scilly Isles and Cornish coast.. At these venues Sandy will help and encourage and you can either paint on board, or ashore.
Bring out the artist in you…… Sandy will help you compose a picture using focal points, tones and values, light and shade, using colour, glazes & techniques through to more advanced methods and use of mixed media, concentrating on areas you want to explore - use various mediums such as Oil, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, ink etc.
These voyages are also suitable for those who just want to enjoy the sailing as well as budding artists who just want to have a go, and accomplished artists.
Art materials will be available on board or you can bring your own.
