About The Ship:

Annabel J is an interpretation of the legendary Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter; designed to patrol in the jaws of the Bristol Channel.  These hardy cutters were necessarily fast, easily handled by a man and a boy and seaworthy.  Annabel J was built in 1996 and is based on an original Pilot Cutter ‘Margerite T’.  Annabel J is constructed in Steel and is fitted out as a luxury yacht.  Below decks she is a haven of beautiful deep polished mahogany, elegant upholstery and cut glass.  She is equipped with the latest navigational equipment, a heater, hot running water and even electric flush toilets!  She will look after you in style.

Construction:

Built in 1996 by A P Appledore (Falmouth).  Fitted out by Bridgend Boat Co, Newton Ferrers.  Steel Hull, teak decks and cockpit.  5 sails include:  Main sail, Main top sail, Stay sail, Jib and jib top sail.  Tiller steering and a very fast and seaworthy yacht.
